These terms govern access to and use of Louisiana Criminal History. Opening a page, reading its material, or submitting a search means the visitor agrees to the conditions below. A person who does not accept them should discontinue use. The terms preserve the site's role as a private reference resource and do not create a relationship with a Louisiana government office.

NO FCRA USE. This privately owned website has no government affiliation and is not a consumer reporting agency. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other decisions governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Its purpose is to route readers to Louisiana criminal-record resources.

1. What This Website Is

Louisiana Criminal History is an independent reference site. It does not store official records, run authorized criminal-history checks, issue certified copies, or submit filings.

Its pages identify custodians such as Louisiana State Police BCII, Louisiana DPS&C Corrections Services, the Louisiana State Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry, Louisiana courts, and local offices in the state's 64 parishes. Government access rights arise under laws including Louisiana Public Records Law, while repository dissemination is controlled by La. R.S. 15:587.

2. Rules for Using This Site

A visitor agrees not to:

  • Use the site in violation of federal, Louisiana, or local law
  • Harass, stalk, intimidate, or threaten another person
  • Use content for housing, hiring, lending, or insurance decisions
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

General descriptions of Louisiana criminal records are not legal advice. A Louisiana lawyer should address how a warrant, charge, conviction, or expungement rule applies to a particular person or case.

  • Information is complete, accurate, or current
  • Access will always be uninterrupted
  • The site will contain no error or security flaw
  • A partner search will return a complete or correct match

Louisiana records can change after dismissal, correction, restriction, or expungement. Only the originating office can confirm an official record.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

10. Indemnification
