Questions about an official Louisiana criminal record must go to the government office that keeps it. Louisiana has no single counter for every rap sheet, court file, arrest report, custody entry, and registry profile. Statewide requests may belong with Louisiana State Police or Louisiana DPS&C Corrections Services. Local files remain with one of Louisiana's 64 parishes or the agency that created the record.
